AutoTweet: A Great Tool for Attracting an Audience to Your Website

If you want to give your organization a traffic boost, then leveraging twitter is one of the best ways to get people to come to your site. The more you tweet, the more people will discover you. And the bigger Buzz you can generate.

We think it's better to err on the site on tweeting too much than too little -- people wouldn't be following your twitter account if they didn't find your organization to be of interest.

Your website is one of the best sources of tweet content available to you. If your organization is frequently publishing and updating your site, you have a well of tweets material already at your disposal.

But tweeting (a lot) can be a time drain, especially if you're already taking care of your website, and perhaps a Facebook page, too. And now there's Google Plus. (Plus, of course, actually operating your organization.)

That's why Buzzr created AutoTweet. The AutoTweet feature composes and publishes a tweet for you whenever you add new content to your website: it could be an article, a blog post, a new image, a new gallery, a new event on your calendar. The tweet says "New Post" then the title or headline for the new content. It also automatically creates a link back to the web page with the new content.

You'll see the full tweet on the same page as the content you are creating -- and you can edit it any way you want before it gets sent to Twitter, or just uncheck the box next to the tweet and it won't go out at all.

When you save your new content, the tweet goes out to the account you set up for your site. No need to go over to Twitter (except when you first set up your account.)

If you want to see how it all works you can check out our new AutoTweet how-to video on the Buzzr library of videos: http://www.buzzr.com/videos-how-to-make-great-websites or on our YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BuzzrWebsites?feature=mhee

We're always striving to make things better, so let us know if you have any suggestions for improving the feature.

Cheers,
